The company is engaged in the manufacture and wholesale distribution of blades, razor and dry cell batteries, as well as skin care and mouth care products. The company has its registered office in Alcobendas, Spain. Incorporated in November 1965, the company became a part of Procter & Gamble (P&G) in 2005 after the latter finalized its purchase of The Gillette Company. As a result of this merger, the Gillette Company no longer exists. The merger created the world's largest personal care and household products company. Its operation is organized in four business units which also represent P&G's brands. These unit are Gillette, Braun, Oral-B and Duracell. The company presented numerous novelties, including the manual dental brush for adults Cross Action, manual dental brush New Stages Rank for children, the electrical reloadable dental brush Braun and Oral-B, the blood pressure measurer Sensorial Control and the infrared thermometer.
