The company is primarily engaged in the promotion and maintenance of sustainable fine hardwood plantations (mainly walnut and cherry trees), which enable the production of these types of woods with an approach that respects the environment. It was founded in 1996. The company has a registered office located in Alcobendas in Madrid, Spain. The company has professional experts who are working in its production process to apply the most innovative cultivation techniques and an efficient methodology that produces crop trees in production cycles of 20 to 25 years, depending on the species and plantation method. It has 1,387.65 hectares (unit for surface area equal to 10,000 square meters) of fine hardwood plantations, with 294.489 (data updated on July 31, 2008) trees planted in its plantations in Cáceres, La Coruña, Gerona, Toledo, Cuenca and Navarra. More than 9,000 customers are participating in its project and they own 198,808 (data updated on July 31, 2008) trees. Its Mission: It promotes the development of planted forests and their exploitation with agronomical criteria, under the strictest compliance with the principles of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) and with the application of ethical and environmental criteria to its activity.
